Mr. Miknas' straight-forward, business-like, managerial style and his successful track record speak for themselves. The success achieved by the Promoseven's chairman and management team indicates their vision, resolve, strength and technical abilities. Mr. Miknas' achievements are reported in the public domain on Google website under 'Akram Miknas'. Akram Miknas, born in 1944, showed an early interest in communication and was keenly involved in photography in school. By the time he was ready for higher studies, he was already certain of his vocation and career in communication. With that in mind, he attended the American University in Beirut to study business administration, specializing in Marketing. To help finance part of his studies, and out sheer interest, he started working as a media provider for various faculties, bringing in advertisements for their journals and organizing their exhibitions.

After graduating, he sought employment in advertising and completed a one year intensive internship at a leading agency in the United States. Mr. Miknas' personal vision and confidence allowed him to actualize his ambition by establishing 'Fortune Promoseven'(FP 7) in 1968 with 6 other young entrepreneurs and ventured in selling ideas. A consultancy assignment for advertising campaign for a Lebanese business man allowed Mr. Miknas' suggestions to succeed in fielding a full advertising campaign for FP7 in its early days. The outcome propelled FP7's client to becoming a leader in its business sector.

Despite changing fortunes of the new company and the exit of his six partners from their association, Mr. Miknas stuck the course and focused on growing his activities outside Lebanon and throughout the Arab world where quality services of the kind provided by FP 7 were needed and useful. Mr. Miknas' hard work, passion for quality achievements, choice of quality staff have propelled FP 7 into the leading position in the Arab world in the advertising business and to rank amongst the top 52 companies worldwide. Associations with world class participants in the business has added value to the process.

Promoseven Holdings E.C. (P7H), a Bahraini Exempt Joint Stock Company, was established in 1989 and is owned by myself (80%) and my two sons Karim (10% share) and Tariq (10% share). The company is an Investment Company with interests in Real Estate, the Hospitality Industry, Advertising and Public Relations.P7H owns majority shares in Promoseven Network; the largest Marketing Communications Group in the Arab world. Some of its prestigious clients include Coca Cola, Gillette, SK Beecham, Gulf Air, Land Rover, National Bank of Saudi Arabia, Etisalat, Batelco, Mastercard, Siemens and Nivea. Gross turnover of this group is estimated at US$ 356 Million with net income of US$ 10 Million in 2004.

P7H recently opened a new division – Promoseven Sports Marketing – and secured the Marketing and Sponsorship contracts for the 1st Asian Indoor Games held in Bangkok in 2005 and the XVth Asia Games in Doha in 2006, details of which are attached. We also organize and market the Annual Dubai Tennis Open and Dubai Rugby Tournaments. Gross turnover of this new division is expected to rise to US$ 26 Million by year 2007.

P7H have been actively trading in Real Estate, mainly in Bahrain, and have a number of very rewarding Real Estate projects in hand. Details of the major Real Estate deals are also attached for your information. For example, last year, we have obtained an income of BD 2.9 Million and this year, sale of 1 piece of land will generate a profit of more than BD 2.5 Million.

Another area is the hospitality Seven Leisure which includes City Centre Hotel, BJ's and JJ's, Coral Beach Club (Coral Bay), Tarbouche Express and Camelot Restaurant. The gross sale of these units for 2004 is expected to be more than BD 2.5 Million and estimated income of BD 500,000.
